GROUP DAY TOUR TO CHERNOBYL

Chernobyl is the most famous Ukrainian phenomenon. If you plan to visit Ukraine or are already in the country, don’t miss the most important and unique experience and site.

Radiation makes the zone particularly interesting. Now at the ground there lays, in the thousand-times-decreased scale, a picture of contamination after a large radiation incident – the picture extremely intricate, interesting, representative also for chemical accidents and terrorist attacks, and fortunately already safe for the visitors. Of course, the Zone in its central part still has places with elevated radiation, and we definitely would NOT recommend you staying at them for a long time. However, if you follow the suggested route and the guides’ directions, your visit to the Chernobyl zone will be absolutely radiation-safe.

It will make ‘visible’ the radiation rate you travel at, constantly informing you about the radiation background. At the end of the day it will show your exact irradiation dose for the whole trip. IMPORTANT: During 1-day tour to the Chernobyl zone you will receive a radiation dose equal to approximately 1-hour jet flight that is 160 times less than the dose received during a single chest x-rays, and 3600 times less than in the one the whole body CT scan.

• The bypass road to the nuclear power plant around the town of Chernobyl, built in the first month of the accident.
• Concrete G-load hub used for the Sarcophagus construction in summer and autumn 1986.
• The decontaminated Red Forest in place of the western radioactive trace from the first, most powerful emission from the explosion of the 4th power unit.
• The town of Pripyat: the building of fire station, which crews arrived the second to extinguish fire at the NPP on the night of explosion on April 26, 1986.

IMPORTANT: All participants will be familiarized with the rules of conduct in the zone and will sign a document confirming this, as well as that they have no medical contraindications for the trip (that is, those. healthy at the time of the trip, do not have diabetes, cancer, and other serious diseases), and will have no claim against the organizers of the trip and the administration of the Chernobyl zone for any state of health that may arise during or after that trip. It is worth recalling that the Zone is called so not for nothing: this place is not intended for the stay of a person, it has many buildings in an emergency condition, an unusual environment for an ordinary person. You are warned of this, and only you are solely responsible for the risks associated with this visit.

In case of refusal of trip of the whole group or its part less than 10 working days before the date of departure, delay, failure to appear, etc., regardless of the reasons, the prepayment is not returned, the total cost of the trip is not recalculated. Persons under the influence of alcohol/drugs, as well as hangovers on the trip and the Zone are not allowed.  Complaints are not accepted, the fee is not refundable.

The armored military off-roader produced by the USSR is one of the most universal vehicles created by Soviet developers. According to the documents, this technique is a military off-roader of high cross-country capacity. You will have a unique opportunity to drive personally real military armored caterpillar vehicles and feel steel power under you which knows no barriers!

ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIER APC-80

APC-80 is the most popular military light-armored vehicle, which is characterized by improved cross-country ability, the ability to cross deep water, as well as maneuverability, speed and capacity (accommodates up to 10 people).

APC requires the installation of machine guns of various calibers, which serves both for offensive and defensive operations.

It is the largest and heaviest equipment, the weight of which is 13, 6 tons. It has its own specifics, both in driving and running properties. We are convinced that you will receive a lot of impressions and emotions from the driving of this machine!

BRDM (Combat reconnaissance patrol vehicle)

In its appearance, it is a lightweight and reduced version of the armored personnel carrier, which allows carry out reconnaissance and surveillance operations in places with complex cross-country and more severe masking conditions.

In turn, the BRDM is not particularly stable, but compensates for this with a powerful motor and good possibility.

Of all the presented equipment, the BRDM is perhaps the easiest technique to drive the driving is very similar to a conventional machine with a manual transmission.
